Setup
My studio is in a small storage space under a staircase - lovingly referred to as my "Harry Potter" studio (HP Studio for short). The walls and ceilings have been covered with acoustic foam to absorb sound and reduce echo, the corners where the walls meet the ceiling are fitted with foam bass traps to reduce the low frequencies known to cause a "muddy" sound, and a shag rug on the floor - for both sound absorption and because it feels nice beneath my feet.
